Certified Gottman Couples  Workshop Leader Training

We are excited to offer training for Certified Gottman Therapists™ to lead Gottman Couples Workshops in their region. We receive many requests by couples from around the country for these workshops. Clinicians will have access to training materials, including workshop videotapes and manuals from Gottman-led workshops. Senior Certified Gottman Consultants™ will work closely with you throughout your training process. As part of your training you will have the opportunity to serve as a “roving therapist” during Gottman Weekend Couples Workshops.

OVERVIEW

• The Gottman Couples Workshop Leader Training is held at the Seattle Center in Seattle, WA. Days 1 and 2 of the training (April 25-26, 2009) will be held in conjunction with The Art and Science of Love: Couples Workshop.
• Gottman Couples Workshops may be led by a minimum of two clinicians per workshop. Workshop leaders must purchase workshop manuals for their participating couples from the Gottman Institute. It is expected that the workshop leaders will conduct all marketing and administration of these workshops, and all profits from them will belong to the workshop leaders involved. We find that 20-25% of couples that attend Gottman Couples Workshops request on-going private therapy from Certified Gottman Therapists.

Experience a Couples Workshop for Yourself!

Personally experience Gottman method exercises and learn how to integrate the methods for yourself. Participation in the Gottmans' research-based couples workshop is a valuable way to deepen your integration of clinical methods used in Gottman Method Couples Therapy.
